Prep baseball: Stanwood 2, Marysville Getchell 1

MARYSVILLE — Stanwood pulled ahead in the seventh inning and picked up an conference win over Wesco 3A North rival Marysville Getchell.

Maverick Larkin doubled for the Spartans and Collin McKenzie threw a complete game and allowed one run on just four hits.

Marysville Getchell starting pitcher Zach Townsend doubled for the Chargers in the loss.
