Prep boys basketball: Mountlake Terrace 68, Marysville Getchell 38

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Loren Lacasse scored 19 points and Jesse Zerom made four 3-pointers as Mountlake Terrace knocked off Marysville Getchell in the first round of the 3A District Tournament. Kaleb Seymer had 11 points for Marysville Getchell. The Hawks advance to play Oak Harbor in a winner-to-regionals game on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at Jackson High School. The Chargers will be on the road against Shorewood in a loser-out contest at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
