LAKE STEVENS — Devin Freeman got the Vikings off to a strong start with a vicious dunk as he scored 11 of his 12 points in the first quarter. Daniel Ngezaho (17 points), Tyson Bell (13), Brody Pierpoint (12) and Brian Tilghman (10) also scored in double figures for Lake Stevens (3-7 overall, 1-2 league). Andrew Mitchell (15 points), Mason Zimmerman (14) and Brandon Lagutang (11 points) led the Bruins (2-7, 0-4).

Glacier Peak 57, Jackson 50

MILL CREEK — Glacier Peak’s Jo Lee and Jackson’s Seamus Williams shared game-high scoring honors with 22 points apiece, but the Grizzlies (5-0 overall, 3-0 league) pulled away with a 16-11 fourth quarter. Jack Taylor added 15 for GP. The Timberwolves fell to 5-5, 2-1.

Monroe 52, Everett 42

MONROE — Dylan Hall (14 points) Kieren Greear (13) and Chacy Waite-Kellar (12) helped the Bearcats improve to 9-2 overall and 2-0 in league. Noah Parker’s game-high 21 points paced Everett (2-6, 0-2).

Marysville Pilchuck 41, Snohomish 35

MARYSVILLE — Michael Rangel-Smathers dominated with 30 as the Tomahawks (1-10 overall, 1-1 league) picked up their first win of the season. Deyton Wheat scored a team-high 12 points for Snohomish (4-8, 1-1).

Marysville Getchell 65, Stanwood 55

MARYSVILLE — Bubba Palacol contributed 15 points and Ano Palacol dished out 13 assists as the Chargers improved to 7-4 overall and 2-0 in league. Zack Pittman scored a game-high 16 points for Getchell. Jett Brager led Stanwood (0-8, 0-2) with 14 points, and Cole Williams added 13.

Wesco 3A/2A South

Edmonds-Woodway 73, Mountlake Terrace 46

EDMONDS — Cameron Hiatt’s 23 points, six rebounds and four assists helped the Warriors (11-0 overall, 3-0 league) remain undefeated. Dre Simonson added 17 points for E-W. Srayveet Singh led Terrace (5-6, 2-2) with 18 points. The Warriors will visit 11-0 Shorecrest on Tuesday.

DARRINGTON — Hunter Anderon nearly outscored Lake Quinault himself, pouring in 40 points to go along with six assists for the Loggers (5-4 overall). Carter Snel added 10 points and eight steals, and Lucas Mason tallied 12 points and three steals for Darrington.

Tulalip Heritage 69, Mount Vernon Christian 53

MARYSVILLE — JJ Grey scored a game-high 20 points and added seven steals for Tulalip Heritage (8-0 overall). Peyton Hatch contributed 10 points and seven rebounds and Dave Parks added 19 points for the Hawks.
