LYNNWOOD — The Warriors (19-1 overall, 10-1 league) rebounded from their first loss of the season in a big way, led by Cam Hiatt’s 38 points and eight rebounds, to knock off the Mavericks in the annual Rubber Chicken rivalry game between the two Edmonds School District teams.

Dre Simonsen helped feed Hiatt as he dished out seven assists. William Alseth added eight points while blocking three Mavericks shots. Individual statistics were not reported for Meadowdale (9-10, 3-8).

Lake Stevens 74, Cascade 42

EVERETT — The Vikings earned a wire-to-wire win over the Bruins to improve to 6-12 overall and 4-6 in league play. Junior Daniel Ngezaho finished with a game-high 20 points while sophomore Devin Freeman had 18 to power the Vikings’ offense. Senior Mason Zimmerman had 13 points for Cascade as the Bruins fell to 3-14, 1-9. Sitting at fifth in the league standings going into the night, the blowout win pulls Lake Stevens closer to a top-four league finish needed to qualify for districts — Mariner (5-6 league) held onto their edge with a win over Kamiak.

Monroe 51, Marysville Getchell 37

MONROE — The Bearcats improved to 17-2 overall and 9-o in league play, thanks in part to junior Chayce Waite-Kellar’s 14 points and 16 rebounds. Senior star Bubba Palacol had 16 points for the Chargers (13-6, 7-2).

EVERETT — Everett led by 27 at the half and earned their largest win of the season by the night’s end to improve to 8-11 overall and 3-6 in league play. Freshman Henry Selders scored 16 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in his first varsity start while senior Alex Tserger had a game-high 22 points. Michael Smathers added to his solid freshman season with 14 points to lead the Tomahawks (1-18, 1-8).

Lummi Nation 69, Tulalip Heritage 63

BELLINGHAM — Tulalip Heritage suffered their first loss of the season to drop to 16-1 overall and 5-1 in league play. Despite Tulalip Heritage leading by 10 after one quarter, the Lummi Nation would outscore the Hawks 44-22 in the next two frames. A late comeback attempt would come up short as junior Davien Parks finished with 22 points for Tulalip Heritage. Junior Jerome Toby finished with a game-high 28 points for the Blackhawks (16-3, 5-0).
