SHORELINE — Shorewood trailed 20-12 early in the second quarter, but the Thunderbirds stepped up their defense en route to the victory. Semir Kadiric scored 15 points and Josh Hawkinson poured in a game-high 23 points for the Scots. The Thunderbirds held Shorecrest to 5 of 23 shooting from beyond the arc and 17-for-56 from the floor. Emmanuel Chibuogwu Jr. led the way for the Scots with 15 points.
