SNOHOMISH — Snohomish rolled to its first lacrosse shutout in nearly eight years with a 19–0 defeat of Burlington-Edison, Friday at Glacier Peak High School.
The combined Snohomish-Glacier Peak program rolled to a 13–0 halftime lead before putting up three goals in each of the final quarters for its first shutout since a 14–0 Division II defeat of Stadium High School on April 30, 2007.
With the win Snohomish improved to 3–1 overall on the season.
Glacier Peak senior Miles Russon led all scorers with four goals and an assist, and Glacier Peak junior Andrew Davis and Lake Stevens Sophomore Alex Wartes each added four goals.
Sophomore goaltender Cade Lichfield, of Glacier Peak High School, had six saves.
