EVERETT — The Archbishop Murphy’s (5-1 league, 6-1 overall) offense started slow but closed the second half with a flourish to take the Cascade Conference game. Lakewood jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute when Evan Thorpe found Sean Hackworth, who slipped the ball by Murphy keeper Jordan Trinka. Steven Briede found the equalizer in the 32nd minute thanks to a pass from Cobi Weyers. Sean Ryan picked up a pair of goals and an assist as the Wildcats broke the game open in the second half. In the 43rd minute he assisted Josh Bartley and then got on the board with an assist from Riley Rayner in the 46th minute. Ryan’s unassisted goal in the 71st minute got by Lakewood (1-5, 2-6) goalie Gustavo Garcia. Bartley also assisted on a Tyler Ptacek score in the 69th minute.
