Prep boys soccer: Edmonds-Woodway 2, Lynnwood 0

EDMONDS — Senior midfielder Jose Aleman scored in the 22nd minute and junior midfielder Edwing Martinez scored in the 30th minute to propel Edmonds-Woodway to a win over Lynnwood in a Wesco 3A soccer match on Wednesday night.

Daniel Liland and Aleman assisted scores while Griffin Small and Sam Palmer contributed to the shutout on goal for the Warriors.

At Edmonds Stadium.

Goals—Jose Aleman (E), Edwing Martinez (E). Assists—Daniel Liland (E), Aleman (E). Goalkeepers—Lynnwood: Gerry Reyes. Edmonds-Woodway: Griffin Small and Sam Palmer. Records—Lynnwood 3-8-1 league, 3-9-4 overall. Edmonds-Woodway 8-2-2, 10-3-3.
