SHORELINE — Edmonds-Woodway is set to face Glacier Peak for the Wesco Championship on Saturday following their win against Shorewood in the 3A District Tournament on Tuesday night.
In the 17th minute, Edmonds-Wooday senior midfielder Jose Aleman dribbled from the outside right into the middle of the field and found the net with a left footed strike for a 1-0 lead that held through the first half.
Shorewood equalized at the 53rd minute on a goal by senior midfielder Kabir Khan that was assisted by Callahan Gobel.
Edmonds-Woodway senior midfielder Sofian Mahmoud headed the game-winner into the net for the Warriors.
Following the loss, Shorewood plays Arlington in a loser out game on Thursday.
