SNOHOMISH — Grizzlies freshman Connor Seed scored a goal and assisted on another and Jesus Mendoza recorded the shutout in goal in a Glacier Peak league win over Shorewood. The first goal came late in the first half when Glacier Peak was able to get the ball to Seed on the right attacking side of the penalty box. He played a square ball, or a perpendicular pass, to Mikulsky at the penalty spot and Mikulsky took a touch and bounced the ball off the far post and in.
Seed’s goal came halfway through the second half off a free kick. Spencer Pettit served it in from the left side about 30 yards out. The ball got knocked down and Seed put it away.
