Prep boys soccer: King’s 3, Cedarcrest 2 (shootout)

SHORELINE — Ryan Gamache scored for King’s in the 30th minute (Isaac Nilsen assist) and Trevor Bartels added a goal in the 60th (Jacob Hauser) in the Cascade Conference matchup. Cedarcrest’s goals came from Chris Dowd in the 20th minute, and Brendan McCadam in the 36th. King’s (11-1 league, 11-1 overall) hit every attempt against Cedarcrest keeper Sean Morris in the shootout. Cedarcrest (7-4, 7-4-1) made two shots, while Matt Matysik, the King’s goalkeeper, saved two.
