EVERETT — Taylor Turner, who made the switch from defender to forward in the prior game, got the hat trick for Monroe (2-5 league, 2-6 overall) with goals in the 38th, 40th and 56th minutes, assisted by Mitch Balk, Arthur Pham and Chris Sowler, respectively. Balk scored his team’s final goal in the 59th minute from a Jordan Lindquist assist. Cascade’s (2-4, 2-5) Drassam Halabiya scored on a breakaway goal in the 24th minute. Jose Perez Jr. was in goal for Monroe and Terry Dunn was the keeper for Cascade.
