OAK HARBOR — Up 4-3 in the shootout, Oak Harbor keeper Kevin Silveira blocked the fourth penalty kick by Shorecrest and Wildcats junior Caley Powers hit the next attempt to seal the win for Oak Harbor in a 3A District 1 Tournament first-round game. Powers scored in the 25th minute of first half and Shorecrest’s Jack Neffner had the equalizer in the 60th minute. Oak Harbor advances to play 3A South No. 1 seed Shorewood in a semifinal game at Shoreline Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Shorecrest plays Marysville Pilchuck in a loser-out game on Tuesday.
