Prep boys soccer: Providence Classical Christian 3, La Conner 1

MARYSVILLE — Providence came back after a sixth-minute goal by La Conner to score three first-half goals and win the 2B/1B District 1 championship. Andrew Moisant scored in the eighth (assist Caleb Moisant) and 28th minutes (assist Matthew Moisant) to give Providence (16-0) the lead. Eric Moisant tacked on a goal in the 34th minute (assist Cole Butaud). Hayden Thomas was in goal for Providence. PCC will be the district’s No. 1 seed to next week’s bi-district playoffs.
