Prep boys tennis: Wesco 4A North Division Tournament (Day 1)

MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon’s Jeffrey Levine came back after dropping the first set to beat Arlington’s Trent Sarver and advance to the singles championship match of the North Division Wesco 4A boys tennis championship on Tuesday. Levine faces Snohomish’s Andrew Ivelia, who beat Lake Stevens’ Gavin Gershmel 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the title match. In doubles play Mount Vernon doubles teams Casey Goodwin and Anthony Shanander and Kyle Frederick and Roland Farrell advanced to face off in the doubles championship match. The second day of the tournament is today at 1 p.m., weather permitting.
