Prep boys track: Shoreline Invitational

SHORELINE — Edmonds-Woodway’s Alec Fellows finished first in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.10 seconds and sixth in the 200 (22.89) at the Shoreline Invitational track and field event on Saturday at Shoreline Stadium.

Federal Way won the 55-team meet with 56 points. Shorecrest had the best showing in of any Wesco team, placing 10th.

Curtis Clauson of King’s won javelin with a distance of 208 feet and teammate Slater Hirst placed fourth in the same event with 179 feet, 9 inches.

Tyler King of Coupeville placed second in the 1,600 (4:12.97) and Andrew Prentice of Glacier Peak finished second in the 400 (50.48).

Cody Simpson of Snohomish took seventh in pole vault with a height of 13 feet, 3 inches.
