BOTHELL — Brandon Lietzke had 14 carries for 69 yards and Drew Benson had seven solo tackles for Granite Falls, which lost its season opener 29-0 to Cedar Park Christian-Bothell. The Eagles controlled the ball for much of the game, and out-rushed Granite Falls 261 to 181 yards.
“Time of possession killed us. They had the ball for about 30 minutes,” said Tigers head coach Tracey Bechthold.
CPC’s Josh Jones had two touchdowns, and Daniel Watts had 17 carries for 126 yards and a TD.
