EVERETT — No KeiVarae Russell. Big problem. Mariner was held to just 129 yards rushing and Eastlake’s Ryan Lewis and Keegan Kemp combined combined to rush for 248 yards and six touchdowns on the ground as the Wolves beat the Marauders in the nonconference showdown at Goddard Stadium. Kiante Ahmad-Woods led Mariner on the ground in Russell’s absence, rushing for 79 yards and scoring Mariner’s lone touchdown. Russell missed the game due to a high ankle sprain and Achilles injury he suffered early in last week’s win over Cascade.
