EVERETT — Trai Patrick’s 26 carries for 184 yards and three touchdowns helped Jackson to a two TD fourth quarter lead, and the Timberwolves held on to that lead to beat Everett in the last game of the season Thursday. Jackson’s quarterback Sam Brown was 14 for 21 for 157 yards and a TD pass to receiver Andrew Dodd who had 9 catches for 112 yards.
Everett charged back in the fourth quarter, scoring two unanswered TDs, the second of which came with just 50 seconds to play. The Seagulls chose to go for a two point conversion pass, but it fell incomplete.
“It was a good battle, a good game, it was fun to be a part of,” said Everett head Coach Will Soren. “They went up early on us, but our kids battled back in the second half and made a great game of it. They gave themselves a chance to win,.. They showed character and I’m proud of them for it.”
Blake Williams had 28 carries for 193 yards and scored all four touchdowns for Everett including three rushing TDs and a catch.
