ARLINGTON — Lakewood senior running back Tyler Courtney rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries as the Cougars took down Cedar Park Christian-Bothell in a Cascade Conference game on Friday night.
The Cougars’ offensive line opened running lanes for Courtney and the rest of Lakewood’s ground game as they rushed for 215 yards on 29 carries as a team.
Sophomore quarterback Austin Lane was 7-of-13 passing for 81 yards and rushed in for a touchdown and senior wideout Sam Linscott caught two passes for 47 yards for Lakewood.
Big plays for Lakewood included a 100-yard David Le kick return touchdown, a Matt Ramirez interception in the red zone, and Sean Dawson blocked punt.
