Prep football: Marysville Pilchuck 49, Seattle Prep 7

MARYSVILLE — Austin Joyner rushed for 118 yards and scored four touchdowns — all in the first half — to lead Marysville Pilchuck to a 49-7 win over Seattle Prep in a Class 3A District I playoff game Friday night.

The Tomahawks (8-1) earned the district’s No. 1 seed into the Class 3A state tournament.

Killian Page added 113 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries for Marysville Pilchuck, which finished the game with 328 yards rushing on just 31 carries, an average of 10.6 yards per attempt.

Defensively, the Tomahawks held the Panthers to 91 yards rushing and 161 yards of total offense.

MP built a 42-0 lead by halftime and the second half was played with a running clock.

Seattle Prep (4-6) scored its lone touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 1-yard run by Jon Khalfayan.
