EDMONDS — Junior wide receiver Daniel Johnson caught four passes for 221 yards and three touchdowns to lead Mountlake Terrace to a Wesco 3A South victory over Shorecrest on Friday night.
Johnson’s 65-yard touchdown catch from senior quarterback Michael Jenson with 2:03 remaining in the fourth quarter proved to be the game-winner for the Hawks.
Jenson was 6-for-16 passing for 232 yards and the three touchdowns to Johnson. Jenson also rushed 17 times for 54 yards.
Senior wide receiver Riley Morrin returned a kick 96 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.
Shorecrest junior quarterback Jack Koss led the Scots’ offense, completing 20 of 35 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns.
