SULTAN — Sultan QB Antonio Rivas was 7-for-15 passing for 103 yards and a touchdown and ran eight times for 35 yards to lead Sultan to a Cascade Conference. In what the two coaches have arranged to call the Black and Blue Game, this annual rivalry started with the Tigers recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff and scoring in three plays. “It was nice to see our kids not give up and hang their heads and keep battling,” Murphy said. “It was the kind of thing where if we played 10 times, we’d go 5-5. It’s a game that can be something we can build a tradition on.” Sultan’s Ian Cooper had 20 carries for 73 yards and his twin, Isaac Cooper, had a fourth-quarter interception that sealed the victory.
