EVERETT — Archbishop Murphy’s fourth-quarter rally fell short as visiting Burlington-Edison edged the Wildcats in the season-opening game for both teams. Sam Hayward led Murphy with 11 points and also had five rebounds and two steals. Megan Wall added seven points, six rebounds and four blocks.
