LYNNWOOD — Lynnwood’s Mikayla Pivec had 10 points, 17 rebounds and six assists to help the Royals to a first-round win over Lake Stevens in the 4A District 1 Tournament. Jordyn Edwards added 19 points and three steals for the Royals, while Cassidy Fifield scored 13 points for the Vikings. Lynnwood advances to play Edmonds-Woodway in a semifinal contest on Friday at Mountlake Terrace H.S. The Vikings will travel to Monroe to take on the Bearcats in a loser-out game on Thursday.
