MOUNT VERNON — Behind 17 points from senior forward Allison Marken, the Mount Vernon girls basketball team outlasted Mariner on Wednesday, 59-43.
Mariner’s Hannah Hezekiah scored 25 points to lead the Marauders, who fell to 0-4 in league and 1-7 overall. Mount Vernon improved to 2-2 and 5-5.
