LYNNWOOD — Trailing 59-57 in the waning moments, Meadowdale senior Kyairra Roussin (10 points) nailed a deep 3-pointer at the horn to seal a postseason win for the Mavericks. Junior Mia Brockmeyer led Meadowdale in scoring with 22 as the Mavs improved to 15-6. Stanwood fell to 17-4 in the heartbreaker, paced by junior Ellalee Wortham’s 22 points.

Shorewood 49, Monroe 45

LYNNWOOD — The Stormrays secured a win in their initial postseason action to improve to 10-12. After trailing by one at the half, Shorewood mounted an 18-9 barrage in the third quarter to create separation. Shorewood senior Bridget Cox had a game-high 15 points, and Vanessa Spadafora added 11. Mya Mercille led Monroe (11-10) with 12 while senior sisters Hope and Halle Kellar each scored 11.

Snohomish 52, Shorecrest 36

SHORELINE — The Panthers (15-6) allowed just 18 points in each half to earn a crossover win. Snohomish senior Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles finished with 17 points while Shorecrest senior Cassie Chesnut matched that mark for the Scots (10-10).

Lynnwood 54, Marysville Getchell 32

LYNNWOOD — The Royals advanced to a winner-t0-district game in a comfortable win over the Chargers. Lynnwood, now 2-19, will face Edmonds-Woodway on Monday while Marysville Getchell’s season ends at 2-19. No individual stats were reported.

Lake Stevens 53, Jackson 30

LAKE STEVENS — Sophomore Noelani Tupua’s 22 points were too much for the Timberwolves to overcome as Lake Stevens improved to 14-5 overall and 11-0 in league play. Jackson, led by sophomore Makena Devine’s 12 points, fell to 8-11 and 4-7.

Glacier Peak 73, Mariner 38

SNOHOMISH — A balanced scoring performance highlighted a wire-to-wire win for Glacier Peak, which improved to 13-6 overall and 9-2 in league play. Four Grizzlies scored in the double-digits, with senior Brynna Pukis’ 17 being a team-high. Mariner junior Jordan Johnson scored a game-high 22 as the Marauders fell to 4-15 and 2-10.

Arlington 58, Cascade 9

ARLINGTON — Arlington senior Jersey Walker’s 27 points tripled the output of the Bruins as the Eagles improved to 7-12 overall and 7-4 in the league. The Bruins dropped to 2-17 and 0-11.

1B District 1 Tournament

Concrete 59, Tulalip Heritage 29

CONCRETE — The Hawks (5-12) dropped their opening district playoff game, meaning they will need two straight wins to advance. That run will begin Saturday afternoon against Providence Classical Christian. No individual stats were reported.
