MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Shorecrest’s Bri Lasconia scored 22 of her game-high 45 points in the fourth quarter and overtime as the Scots came from behind to beat Mountlake Terrace 83-74 win on Friday night.
Behind the play of Taylor Smith, who scored 32 points and hit six 3-pointers, the Hawks held a 55-40 lead late in the third quarter. But Lasconia helped lead Shorecrest’s surge in the final quarter as the Scots outscored the Hawks 27-15 in the fourth quarter.
Lasconia hit the first of a pair of free throws to tie the score with 9 seconds remaining in the game. She missed the second, though, and Mountlake Terrace missed an attempt at the buzzer to force overtime, where Shorecrest outscored Terrace 13-4 to improve to 8-1 in Wesco 3A play.
