SNOHOMISH — Caroline Gravelle was 6-for-8 from the field and had nine rebounds to lead Snohomish to a nonleague victory over Mt. Vernon in its season opener. Julie Young also knocked down five 3-pointers in nine attempts scoring 17 total points for the Panthers. Snohomish out-rebounded Mt. Vernon 32-12 in the second half, allowing the Panthers to double the Bulldogs score and cement the victory.
