MOUNT VERNON — Katia Brown made three free throws in the last minute of the game as Tulalip Heritage held off Shoreline Christian in a semifinal contest at the 1B District Tournament. Bella Hermesch had 12 points for Shoreline Christian. Adiya Jones-Smith scored 16 points to lead the Hawks, who will play tournament host Mount Vernon Christian in the district title game on Friday at 6:00 p.m. The Crusaders play Grace Academy in the 3rd/4th place game at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
