TACOMA — Everett’s Shelbi Douty finished in fifth place in the 3A state bowling championships. Douty finished with a total score of 1,062 pins and had high games of 199 and 204. Everett was in eighth place at the end of Friday’s competition. The team champion will be determined today.
In the 4A championships, Jackson’s Danae Ellis finished in 14th place overall with a high game of 200 and Cascade’s Jay Grinaker finished in 25th place with a 194 high game.
