Prep girls soccer: Edmonds-Woodway 6, Mariner 0

EVERETT — The Warriors lit up the scoreboard in the first half of a Wesco South win. Emily Storino, Cameron McCarthy, Risa Pieters, Hannah Rupple and Michaela Moren all scored prior to halftime. Moren, along with Sofia Colvin and Hailey Hull had assists. The lone goal in the second half came from Alyse Pattison off a cross from Melissa Long. Michelle Rumple and Kiera Towell combined for the shutout for Edmonds-Woodway (8-3-1 league, 8-4-2 overall). Ashley Young was in goal for Mariner (0-11, 0-15).
