BOTHELL — Makaela Nellams scored the game-winning goal for Everett (10-0-1) in the 78th minute off an assist by McKayla Fox, giving the Seagulls a 4-3 Wesco 3A girls soccer win over Mountlake Terrace Saturday at Lynnwood H.S.
Everett had taken a 3-0 lead only to see the Hawks come back to tie the score on a 59-minute goal by Lily Hart.
But Nellams, who also scored Everett’s third goal and had an assist on the Seagulls’ first tally, took a through ball from Fox and put it into the net just out of the reach of the diving Terrace goalkeeper.
Hart had two goals for Terrace and teammate Erin Russell had a goal and two assists.
