Prep girls soccer: Granite Falls 1, Lynden 0

BELLINGHAM — Jillian Zachary scored her second goal of the season with six minutes left in the match to lift Granite Falls past Lynden in a District 1 2A loser out match.

“After starting the season really good at 7-1-1, we moved a lot of players around to patch holes due to injury. Jillian took advantage of her opportunities tonight,” said Granite Falls coach Lowell Zenk. “I am very proud of the direction this team is going considering how young we are and how they have bounced back from the injuries we’ve had.”
