EVERETT — Cara Wegner had a goal and three assists and Meggie Harris had two goals in a Wesco South win. Harris’ first goal came early from Wegner but Cascade’s Mikayla Whitton answered back with a goal at minute 29. Megan Cooley broke the tie at minute 54, again from Wegner, and Harris took Wegner’s third assist and turned it into a 3-1 lead. According to Jackson head coach Michael Bartley, Wegner’s play was creative. In addition to her assists she had a minute-70 goal in which she took the ball from Jessie Murphy, ran through the defense, broke from 30 yards out and put it into the corner of the goal.
