Prep girls soccer: Kamiak 1, Lake Stevens 0

MUKILTEO — Alexie Morris buried a 25-yard shot just after the halftime kickoff to give Kamiak a 1-0 victory over Lake Stevens in the Wesco 4A district tournament on Saturday.

Jenny Wrobel assisted on the goal for the Knights, who will face Snohomish at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Tuesday. Kamiak has not been defeated since September 24.

The victory also marked the 100th win at Kamiak for coach Beth Stewart.

Goals—Alexie Morris (K). Assists—Jenny Wrobel (K). Goalkeepers—Lake Stevens: Madison McDonald, Paityn Kaiser. Kamiak: Shannon Peth. Records—Lake Stevens 6-10-1 overall. Kamiak 11-5-1.
