CAMAS — Shorecrest beat Camas on penalty kicks in the first round of the 3A state soccer tournament. Nicole Harris, Mickey Greenburg, Sophia Flohr and Amelia Flohr made Shorecrest’s four kicks, while Camas only managed three. “It was a game of two halves,” said Scots head coach Mindy Dalziel. “Shorecrest played exceptionally well in the first half, Camas played well in the second, then there was a frantic 10 minutes of overtime. Once it went to PKs I had some confidence, they have done really well in those, I had faith we could take it from there.” Shorecrest’s keeper was Frida Swensen. Jamie Carter was in goal for Camas. The Scots’ next game is against Seattle Prep at Shoreline Stadium.
