Prep volleyball roundup for Tuesday, Sept. 10:

Everett 3, Oak Harbor 1

OAK HARBOR — Sophomore Ava Gonzalez recorded 25 kills, three aces and 11 digs in Everett’s season-opening 25-17, 25-23, 23-25, 25-13. Fellow sophomore Ava Urbanozo added 29 assists, six kills, six aces and 18 digs. Katelyn Chaussee (eight assists) and Grace Regan-Bone (eight digs, two aces) also contributed for the Seagulls.

Marysville Pilchuck 3, Cascade 2

MARYSVILLE — Rylee Akau registered nine kills, three aces and 19 digs to lead the Tomahawks to a season-opening, 23-25, 25-16, 25-17, 20-25, 15-12 triumph. Darina Glassburn added 22 assists and 14 digs MP. Cascade (0-1 overall) was led by Maggie Christensen’s 30 assists, Amara Williams 12 kills and Leila Soriano’s 21 digs.
