Four non-football prep events to keep an eye on this week:

BOYS TENNIS: 4A Northwest District Tournament, 1 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Glacier Peak H.S. The top two singles finishers and top two doubles teams advance to the Class 4A state tournament next May in the Tri-Cities.

GIRLS SWIMMING: Jackson at Kamiak, 3:15 p.m. Thursday. This dual-meet showdown will determine the Wesco South title. Jackson is 9-0 overall and 8-0 against Wesco South competition. Kamiak is 8-1 and 7-0, with its only loss coming to 3A state power Bainbridge. The Timberwolves and Knights have both earned top-eight finishes at the 4A state meet each of the past three seasons.

VOLLEYBALL: Snohomish at Stanwood, 7 p.m. Thursday. This clash of unbeatens could potentially decide the Wesco 3A title. Riding a 24-match conference win streak, Stanwood is 10-0 in league play and has won 30 of 32 sets. Snohomish is 9-0 in conference play, winning 27 of 30 sets. Both teams also have key matches Tuesday night against the two teams tied for third place in Wesco 3A, with Stanwood traveling to Arlington and Snohomish hosting Oak Harbor.

GIRLS SOCCER: Edmonds-Woodway at Shorewood, 7 p.m. Thursday at Shoreline Stadium. This figures to be the toughest of three remaining matches in the Warriors’ quest for their second Wesco 3A title in four years. Edmonds-Woodway sits atop the conference standings with 30 points, holding a three-point lead and the head-to-head tiebreaker over Cedarcrest. Archbishop Murphy is third with 26 points and Shorewood is fourth with 25.
