BASEBALL

Wesco North

Arlington 4, Snohomish 2

SNOHOMISH — Arlington rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh inning to take down Snohomish in a Wesco North clash Friday.

Cooper McBride went 1-for-2 with a home run, two RBI, two walks and two runs scored and Trenton Lamie and Jeren Eldridge each drove in a run for the Eagles (4-1, 2-0), who used a three-run seventh inning to hand Snohomish a loss for the second straight day.

Ty Rusko went 5.2 innings and struck out eight while allowing two runs, five hits and three walks. He also went 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base. Aiden Green struck out two over 1.1 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win.

Kale Hammer fanned 10 batters over 5.1 innings while surrendering an unearned run, two hits and three walks. He also went 1-for-2 and Gage Keene went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI for the Panthers (4-3, 0-2).

Glacier Peak 5, Marysville Getchell 2

SNOHOMISH — Logan Hall and Turner Domann each drove in a pair of runs and Glacier Peak picked up a Wesco North win over Marysville Getchell on Friday.

Hall homered, Domann tripled and Nate Morello went 1-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Grizzlies (4-1, 1-0 league) on offense.

Karsten Sweum allowed two unearned runs, two hits and two walks over four innings while striking out eight to pick up the win. Jacob Kanaly struck out four over two scoreless innings of relief.

Bradley Aasen went 1-for-2 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base for the Chargers (1-2, 0-1).

Monroe 3, Marysville Pilchuck 1

MONROE — Seth Baldwin threw a complete game, allowing an unearned run and six hits while striking out seven, as Monroe topped Marysville Pilchuck in a Wesco North matchup Friday.

Tyler Hogan went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Ethan Hogan drove in a run during a 1-for-2 performance. Kolby Wheadon also plated a run for the Bearcats (3-2, 1-0 league).

Marysville Pilchuck fell to 0-2 (0-1).

Everett 7, Stanwood 2

Wesco South

Shorecrest 8, Cascade 3

EVERETT — Rowan Hinderer went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a walk as Shorecrest beat Cascade in a Wesco South matchup Friday.

J Lockwood picked up the win for the Scots (3-3, 2-0 league).

Parker Smith went 1-4 and drove in two runs to pace the Bruins (1-5, 0-2).

Jackson 7, Meadowdale 1

MILL CREEK — Dominic Hellman hit a two-run home run and a double, and Jackson opened its Wesco South slate with a victory over Meadowdale.

Carson Burns also doubled and Sean Bang singled home a run for the Timberwolves (3-1, 1-0 league). Hellman, Burns, Hunter Komine, Jaggar Endresen and Ryan Nakajima all finished with a multi-hit game.

Kellan Johns, Cole Benjamin and Charlie Berg combined to strike out six while allowing just three hits and one run.

The Mavericks fell to 1-5 (0-1).

Edmonds-Woodway 9, Shorewood 2

SHORELINE — Jack Beers went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBI as Edmonds-Woodway scored nine runs in the first three innings and cruised to a win over Shorewood.

Lane Corsi singled, tripled and drove in three runs, and Jacob Gabler doubled and drove in a run at the plate and also sturck out 10 batters in five innings pitched while allowing just two hits and one earned run for Edmonds-Woodway (3-2, 2-0 Wesco South).

Blake Gettman drove in a run and Noah Fahey added a double for Shorewood (2-4, 1-1).

Granite Falls 13, University Prep 10

SHORELINE — James Porter had four hits and Landon Ferwerda and William Boyd added two each as Granite Falls pounded out 18 total hits and edged University Prep in a league game.

Sam Marrison chipped in two hits for Granite Falls (2-3, 1-0 Emerald Sound).

Yoshi Malady went 2-for-5 for University Prep (4-3, 2-1).

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Madison Knowles went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI, and Cedarcrest pounded out 13 hits on its way to a Wesco 3A/2A victory over Mountlake Terrace on Friday.

Katharine Townley and Kaylee Hulse each added two RBI for the Red Wolves (4-1, 1-0 league). Knowles, Townley, Hulse, Peyton Hayes and Emma Duke finished with two hits apiece, and Duke picked up the win in the circle while allowing four runs over five innings.

Ellie Gilbert went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI and Cameron Dunn hit a two-run home run for the Hawks (2-2, 1-1).

Shorewood 2, Snohomish 1

SHORELINE — Skyler Tillman drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth and Shorewood stayed unbeaten with a win over Snohomish in Wesco 3A/2A play.

Rebecca Carson allowed just three hits while tossing a complete game for the Stormrays (5-0, 2-0 league). Tillman finished 2-for-3 and Carson also hit a double.

Alli Wilson, Evy Massena and Kendel Sage each went 1-for-3 for the Panthers (2-3, 1-1).
