STANWOOD — John Floyd made scored 11 of his game-high 22 points and the Spartans topped the Scots in a key early-season Wesco 3A/2A battle.
Floyd made 11 of 12 free-throw attempts, including 7 of 8 in the fourth. Max Mayo chipped in 12 points, Colby Campbell 10 and Owen Thayer eight for Stanwood (3-0 overall, 1-0 league).
Keaine Silimon scored 16 points, Parker Baumann added 14 and Disma Kagarabi 11 for Shorecrest (0-2, 0-1).

BOTHELL — Aniya Hooker netted 20 points and Kayla Lorenz added 19 to lead the Royals past the Stormrays in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup.
Lorenz hit five 3-pointers and Lynnwood (1-1, 1-0 league) sank 10 from beyond the arc as a team. Teyah Clark and Dina Yonas chipped in eight points apiece.
Rachel Te scored 13 points and Kate Evans added nine for Shorewood (0-2, 0-1).
Archbishop Murphy 58, Cascade 28
EVERETT — Brooke Blachly poured in six 3-pointers and a game-high 22 points as the Wildcats cruised by the Bruins in a Wesco 3A/2A play.
Caroline Burns added 14 points and Kayla Hookfin nine for Archbishop Murphy (1-2 overall, 1-0 league).
Abby Surowiec scored nine points to lead Cascade (1-2, 0-1).

Glacier Peak 42, Everett 40
SNOHOMISH — Brynna Pukis had 11 points, Sammie Thoma added 10 and the Grizzlies earned a hard-fought non-league victory over the Seagulls.
Zoey Ritter and Kylani Rookstool chipped in eight points each for Glacier Peak (3-0).
Mylie Wugumgeg and Alana Washington scored 12 points and Mae Washington added seven to pace Everett (1-3).
