Archbishop Murphy 6, Bellingham 0

DUVALL — The Wildcats continued their dominant 2021 campaign with a rout of Bellingham in the Class 2A District 1 tournament semifinals on Monday at Cedarcrest High School.

Archbishop Murphy (17-0-0) clinched a state-playoff berth with the vicotry. The Wildcats face Burlington-Edison at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Cedarcrest in the district title game.

VOLLEYBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Shorewood 3, Marysville Pilchuck 0

SHORELINE — Stella Foley had 25 assists, 11 digs and six kills as the Thunderbirds knocked off the Tomahawks 25-13, 25-12, 25-15.

Madison Watson added 10 kills and four digs, Lulu Hoffman had five kills and Emma Okamura chipped in 21 digs for Shorewood (6-10, 6-8 Wesco 3A/2A).

Moneece Kendrick led Marysville Pilchuck (3-12, 3-11) with nine digs. Carly Scallan added five digs, four kills and three aces.

Snohomish 3, Edmonds-Woodway 0

SNOHOMISH — Anneke Hanson delivered nine kills, five digs and five aces as the Panthers topped the Warriors 25-9, 25-10, 25-7.

Kate Stern chipped in 10 assists and seven digs and Alya Grant added seven assists, six aces, four digs and three kills for Snohomish (13-2, 12-2 Wesco 3A/2A).

Edmonds-Woodway fell to 4-12 overall and 4-10 in league play.

Archbishop Murphy 3, Monroe 1

MONROE — Alishia Nichols dished out 34 assists to go along with 10 digs, three blocks and three aces in the Wildcats’ four-set victory over the Bearcats.

Madison Nguyen posted 21 kills and nine digs and Hannah Humphrey added nine digs and seven kills for Archbishop Murphy (12-4, 11-3 Wesco 3A/2A).

Monroe fell to 6-9 overall and 6-8 in league play.
