No. 2 Lake Stevens 3, No. 7 Issaquah 1

LAKE STEVENS — Laura Eichert posted 19 kills, eight digs and two blocks, Peri Hoshock added 16 kills and two blocks and the second-seeded Vikings earned a 25-27, 25-20, 25-18, 25-10 victory over seventh-seeded Issaquah in a Class 4A Wes-King Bi-District Tournament quarterfinal contest.

Hayli Tri chipped in 12 kills and four aces and Alyss Kelly 13 digs and four aces for Lake Stevens (14-2), which advances to host third-seeded Bothell in a winner-to-state semifinal game Tuesday.

Issaquah (11-12) falls to the consolation bracket and will face eighth-seeded Glacier Peak in an elimination game Tuesday.

EVERETT — Third-seeded Archbishop Murphy advanced to a winner-to-state district semifinal game by sweep sixth-seeded Anacortes in the quarterfinals.

Natalie Russell had 16 digs and 10 kills, Tatum Gill posted nine digs, six kills and six aces and Alishia Nichols added 14 assists, 11 digs, seven kills and four aces for the Wildcats (14-2), who travel to face second-seeded Burlington-Edison on Wednesday.
