Tulalip Heritage beat Concrete 72-49 in a Class 1B District 1 quarterfinals game.

The Hawks (11-6) will square off against Mount Vernon Christian in a non-elimination semifinal game on Feb. 6.

Sultan handled Northwest 44-19 in an opening round 1A Emerald Sound Conference tournament game.

The fifth-seeded Turks (15-5) will face No. 4 Overlake on Feb. 6 in a quarterfinal round matchup.

Granite Falls 54, South Whidbey 20

No. 6 seeded Granite Falls blew out South Whidbey 54-20 in an opening round 1A Emerald Sound Conference tournament game.

The Tigers (13-1) will move on to face third-seeded Cedar Park Christian (Bothell) in a quarterfinals game on Feb. 6.

1B District 1 Tournament

Darrington 47, Lopez 28

Allie Cochran racked up 18 points, 14 rebounds and six steals as second-seeded Darrington downed No. 6 seed Lopez in a Class 1B District 1 quarterfinal game.

Claire Wright collected 15 points, 14 boards and six steals while Carli Espeland offered five assists and seven steals.

The Loggers (10-9) will face No. 2 Lummi Nation in the semifinals on Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m..

The fifth-seeded Hawks dropped to No. 4 seed Orcas Island 34-29 in a Class 1B District 1 quarterfinals game.

Tulalip Heritage (5-7) will move to the consolation bracket to face Grace Academy on Feb. 6 in a non-elimination game.

Grace Academy lost to Mount Vernon Christian 73-19 in a Class 1B District 1 quarterfinals tilt.

Alana Washington led all scorers with 25 points as Everett routed Renton in a non-league game.

Cedarcrest 56, Sedro-Woolley 52

Kiki Anderson supplied 18 points and Laine McKenzie had 17 points as both finished with double-doubles in a non-league win over Sedro-Woolley.
