BOYS BASKETBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Stanwood 64, Marysville Pilchuck 44

MARYSVILLE — John Floyd scored 23 points and Max Mayo added 16 as Stanwood closed its regular season with a Wesco 3A/2A win over Marysville Pilchuck.

Mack Hepper and Kolten Bartram-Scott each added nine points for the Spartans (12-6, 10-3 league).

Anthony Najera had 13 points and Jamaari Jefferson chipped in 12 for the Tomahawks (7-7, 7-5).

Everett 63, Edmonds-Woodway 57

EVERETT — Isaiah White and Danny Savovic each scored 22 points and Everett reached the 10-win mark for the first time since 2017 with a Wesco 3A/2A victory over Edmonds-Woodway.

White added seven rebounds and five assists and Savovic had eight boards and four assists for the Seagulls (10-7, 9-3 league). Hayden Conaxis chipped in a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Adonai Daniel netted 20 points and Jacob Gabler added 10 for the Warriors (8-10, 7-7).

Northwest Conference

Lakewood 57, Squalicum 54

BELLINGHAM — Justice Taylor led three Cougars in double figures with 15 points and Lakewood edged Squalicum for a Northwest Conference victory.

Blake Conyers had 12 points and Andrew Molloy added 10 for the Cougars (11-5, 8-1 league).

Leyton Smithson paced the Storm (6-11, 4-11) with a game-high 18 points.

Non-league

Auburn Mountainview at Lynnwood, canceled

Class 1B District 1 Tournament

Winner to second round, loser out

Providence Classical Christian 63, Darrington 50

DARRINGTON — Nate Mullen scored 16 points, but Darrington to fell to Providence Classical Christian in a loser-out Class 1B District 1 Tournament game.

Cooper Green added 11 points and LaRon Nelson had six for the Loggers, who finish the season 4-9.

Bravo Jung poured in a game-high 30 points to lead PCC (6-5).

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Archbishop Murphy 50, Mountlake Terrace 36

EVERETT — Taylor Campbell led a balanced effort with 12 points and Archbishop Murphy rebounded from a pair of losses by knocking of Mountlake Terrace in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup.

Taylor Reed added 11 points and Caroline Burns had 10 for Wildcats (10-6, 6-3 league).

Mya Sheffield scored nine points and Lindsey Ho chipped in eight for the Hawks (10-5, 5-5).

Snohomish 62, Shorewood 36

SNOHOMISH — Ella Gallatin led three Panthers in double figures with a game-high 17 points and Class 3A sixth-ranked Snohomish routed Shorewod in a Wesco 3A/2A contest.

Jada Andresen scored 13 points and Tyler Gildersleeve-Stiles added 11 for the Panthers (12-2, 7-1 league).

Joy Brandenstein led the Thunderbirds (6-10, 3-7) with 11 points and Jill Frye chipped in eight.

Everett 58, Edmonds-Woodway 28

EVERETT — Ella Sylvester scored a game-high 18 points and Everett raced out to a 25-6 lead in the first quarter on its way to a Wesco 3A/2A win over Edmonds-Woodway.

Mae Washington added 14 points, Emma Larson had nine and the Seagulls (9-6, 5-2 league) held Edmonds-Woodway to six points or less in three quarters.

Halle Waram led the Warriors (5-13, 3-8) with nine points and Nya Deng added eight.

Mariner 51, Cascade 31

EVERETT — Danaysia Cain led eight Mariner scorers with 12 points and Mariner beat Cascade in a non-league game.

Christy De La Paz added 10 points and Yunilda Rodriguez-Frias eight for the Marauders (9-5).

Claire Mitchell had eight points and three different Bruins (2-13) chipped in six points.

Arlington 76, Jackson 26

MILL CREEK — Keira Marsh poured in a career-high 31 points and Class 3A third-ranked Arlington cruised past Jackson in a non-league game.

Jenna Villa added 19 points for the Eagles (14-2).

The Timberwolves fell to 4-11.

Marysville Getchell 60, Marysville Pilchuck 37

MARYSVILLE — Ellie Jackson and Chloe Downing each had 14 points and Marysville Getchell topped rival Marysville Pilchuck two sweep a two-game season series between the squads.

Hayden Robinson chipped in 10 points for the Chargers (7-9).

Gianna Frank scored 14 points and Shalana Mclean added eight for the Tomahawks (3-11).

Lake Stevens 63, Kentwood 55

COVINGTON — Five different Vikings scored in double figures as Class 4A fifth-ranked Lake Stevens used a balanced attack to take down Kentwood in a non-league clash.

Chloe Pattison led the Vikings (16-2) with 13 points and Nina Ellis scored nine of her 12 points in the second half. Camille Jentzsch, Baylor Thomas and Cori Wilcox chipped in 10 points apiece as Lake Stevens ended Kentwood’s 13-game winning streak.

Jersey Huerta netted a game-high 24 points to lead the Conquerors (15-4).

Darrington 49, Lopez 16

DARRINGTON — Alyvia Wright netted a game-high 18 points and Darrington routed Lopez to advance to the second round of the Class 1B District 1 Tournament.

Claire Wright and Allie Cochran each added 10 points for the Loggers (5-8). Darrington held Lopez to only one point in the third quarter and didn’t allow more than six points in a period.

The Lobos finished the season 0-8.
