MUKILTEO — Cayden Wotipka drove in three runs and Kamiak held on to beat Glacier Peak in the Wesco 4A opener for each squad Tuesday.
Wotipka went 2-for-3 and Jack Fenton had two RBI for Knights (9-1, 1-0 league). Ethan Cox earned the win after allowing four runs over 5.1 innings on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.
Ashton Olson went 3-for-4 and Colby Holmdahl was 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI to lead the Grizzlies (8-4, 0-1).

EVERETT — Jackson and Kamiak played to a draw in a back-and-forth Wesco 4A clash Tuesday.
Jaden Oduga and Macallister Dunn put the Timberwolves (5-3-2, 2-0-1 league) up 2-0 with goals in the first half.
Kamiak (5-3-2, 2-0-1) scored three unanswered goals in the second half to take a 3-2 lead before Jackson’s Andrew Choi scored a goal to force overtime.

EDMONDS — Andrew Montero netted a hat trick and Edmonds-Woodway cruised past Marysville Getchell in a Wesco 3A/2A contest Tuesday.
Richard Duncan scored twice and Ben Hanson, Thiago Cordova and Isaac Parreno each added goals for the Warriors (6-2-2, 6-2-1 league). Hanson, Edgar Cabrera and Raghavendra Raghu had assists.
E-W goalkeeper Gabriel Wilhelm recorded two saves and earned a shutout.
The Chargers fell to 1-7-1 (1-6-1).

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Isa Davis, Riannon Botz and Hanna Jones each had two hits and Everett remained unbeaten by topping Mountlake Terrace in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup Tuesday.
Davis finished 2-for-4 with two RBI, Jones 2-for-3 with a double and Botz 2-for-3 with two RBI. Maddie Pewitt added a triple and walked twice.
Taylor Millar struck out seven over seven innings and allowed two runs — one earned — on five hits and two walks to earn the win for the Seagulls (7-0, 4-0 league).
Cameron Dunn hit a two-run home run in the first inning and walked twice and Kyleigh Smith went 2-for-3 to lead the Hawks (3-5, 2-3).

BOTHELL — Elisabeth Funston finished a home run shy of a cycle during a 4-for-4 day at the plate and Kamiak busted out for 12 combined runs in the fourth and fifth innings to rout Lynnwood in a non-league contest Tuesday.
Funston doubled, tripled, drove in two runs and scored three times. Scarlette Chapman went 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored. Chapman also picked up the win in the circle after allowing just two runs and two hits while striking out 11 in a complete game.
Emma Stansfield was 2-for-3 with a triple as the Knights (8-3) pounded out six extra-base hits.
Nyree Johnson went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and Jasmyn Carlson was 1-for-2 with an RBI for the Royals (3-4).
