VANCOUVER — Wyatt Stevens scored in the 48th minute as 15th-seeded Kamiak stunned No. 2 Union in the opening round of the 4A state tournament on Wednesday.

Kamiak will face No. 7 Skyline in the quarterfinals on Saturday. Skyline beat Kamiak 3-1 in the 4A District 1/2 Tournament on May 10.

EVERETT — Aliya Boonsripisal hit a walk-off single in the ninth inning to lift Kamiak over Glacier Peak in a 4A District 1/2 Tournament loser-out game on Wednesday.

Kamiak advanced to face Lake Stevens in another consolation loser-out game later Wednesday evening.

Faith Jordan homered twice, drove in four runs and pitched a complete game for Glacier Peak, which finished its season with a 15-7 overall record.

Lake Stevens 10, Kamiak 0

EVERETT — Lake Stevens beat Kamiak in a 4A District 1/2 Tournament consolation loser-out game Wednesday evening.

Lake Stevens advanced to face Wesco 4A foe Jackson in a winner-to-state game on Friday.

Kamiak finished its season with a 12-10 overall record.

2A DISTRICT 1 TOURNAMENT

Lynden 11, Lakewood 8

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Third-seeded Lakewood fell to No. 2 Lynden in a 2A District 1 Tournament quarterfinal game on Wednesday.

Lakewood fell into the consolation bracket and will face No. 5 Anacortes in a loser-out game on Friday.

Cedarcrest 15, Sedro-Woolley 12

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Fourth-seeded Cedarcrest beat No. 1 Sedro-Woolley in a 2A District 1 Tournament winner-to-state semifinal on Wednesday.

Cedarcrest advanced to face No. 2 Lynden in the district championship game on Friday.

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Fourth-seeded Cedarcrest beat No. 5 Anacortes in a 2A District 1 Tournament quarterfinal game on Wednesday.
