MUKILTEO — Lake Stevens stayed undefeated on the season with a 25-17, 25-22, 25-18 league win over Kamiak on Wednesday night.

The Vikings improved to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in Wesco 4A play.

Lindsey Knutt had 15 digs and two aces, Talia Sicsic added five kills and seven digs, Ella Kunz had four kills and two digs, and Sasha Ponzo had seven assists and one dig for Kamiak (5-6, 3-2).

Glacier Peak 3, Jackson 2

SNOHOMISH — Glacier Peak earned a nail-biting Wesco 4A win over Jackson by scores of 24-26, 25-14, 25-16, 12-25 and 15-13 on Wednesday night.

The Grizzlies improved to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in league play.

Marissa Martinez had 25 digs, Ellina Powell had 14 kills, Reece Nelson had 13 kills and Addison Eastwood had five aces for Jackson (6-3, 2-1).


Arlington 3, Shorewood 0

ARLINGTON — Emily Mekelburg had seven aces, 13 kills, eight digs and one block, and Taylor Pederson added one ace, six kills, 17 assists, three digs and one block as Arlington earned a 25-19, 25-11, 25-14 league win over Shorewood.

Malia Shepherd had four aces, six kills, three digs and one block, Chloe Lewis added three aces, 14 digs and two assists, and Brookelynn Ramey chipped in one ace, 11 assists and six digs for Arlington (9-1 overall, 8-0 Wesco 2A/3A).

Shorewood fell to 3-7 overall and 3-5 in league play.
