Snohomish 10, Archbishop Murphy 0 (6)

EVERETT — Nolan Soderstrom went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI and struck out two hitters in relief to end the game as Snohomish inched closer to a league title with a win over Archbishop Murphy.

Brendan McKinley doubled a drove in two runs, Easton Leonard had two RBI and Jackson Weeks struck out nine and allowed just one hit in 5.1 strong innings pitched for Snohomish (14-4, 11-1 Wesco 3A/2A North).

Kiani Ward had the lone base hit in the game for Archbishop Murphy (8-11, 5-7).

Monroe 4, Stanwood 2

MONROE — Harlan Rowe struck out 11 and allowed just two runs on three hits in a complete-game effort to lead Monroe past Stanwood in a league game.

Ethan Hogan went 2-for-2 at the plate for Monroe (14-4, 10-2 Wesco 3A/2A North), which kept firm hold of second place behind Snohomish in the league standings.

Mason Goodson struck out seven in 4.1 innings pitched, and Braedon Requa, Luke Palaniuk and Tryston Stephenson each had a base hit for Stanwood (9-9, 7-5).

Marysville Pilchuck 12, Marysville Getchell 3

MARYSVILLE — Ethan Alberts and Donovan Faulkner had two hits and drove in three runs each as Marysville Pilchuck thumped rival Marysville Getchell in a league game.

Shane Nelson went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI, and Calvin Higgins struck out five and allowed just three runs on six hits in six quality innings for Marysville Pilchuck (3-15, 3-9 Wesco 3A/2A North).

Bradley Aasen went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, and Ethan Jury and Chayse Randle each drove in a run for Marysville Getchell (5-13, 2-10).

EVERETT — Hailey Pelletier and Simone Williams both went 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI as Jackson stayed perfect on the season with a league win over Mariner.

Leneyah Mitchell went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI, Yanina Sherwood finished 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI, and Rachel Sysum and Macie Dean drove in two runs each for Jackson (14-0, 3-0 Wesco 4A).

Danika Molisani, Estrella Urrutia and Scarlet Mathiasen drove in a run each for Mariner (0-11, 0-2).

Kamiak 5, Lake Stevens 1

LAKE STEVENS — Kylie McClure went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI and Kamiak beat Lake Stevens in a key league matchup.

Elisabeth Funston doubled and drove in two runs, Scarlette Chapman had two hits and Synclair Mawudeku did not allow a hit and struck out three in three innings pitched for Kamiak (15-1, 2-1 Wesco 4A).

Haylee Kim went 2-for-3 with a triple, double and an RBI, and Rylee Beckham finished 2-for-3 for Lake Stevens (11-2, 1-1).

Cedarcrest 13, Lynnwood o (5)

BOTHELL — Madison Knowles homered twice and added a double as Cedarcrest raced past Lynnwood in a league game.

Emma Duke struck out five in a shutout effort in the circle for Cedarcrest (7-5, 6-3 Wesco 3A/2A).

Kali McCloud struck out three batters in relief for Lynnwood (3-10, 2-7).

Monroe 20, Everett 5 (5)

EVERETT — Anniston Olyear went 2-for-2 with a home run, double, three walks and four RBI to help lead Monroe to a league win over Everett.

Hadley Oylear went 5-for-5 with a double, four RBI and three runs scored, and Scarlette Nagy, Brooke Boswell, Vivian Knuckey and Ella Brittingham each drove in two runs for Monroe (5-10, 5-5 Wesco 3A/2A).

Braylon Yarwood doubled and drove in two runs, Madeline Pewitt went 2-for-4 with a runs scored and Ruby Wacker finished 1-for-2 with an RBI for Everett (7-8, 5-5).
