STANWOOD — John Floyd scored 21 points and Owen Thayer added 19, including five 3-pointers, as Stanwood held off a second-half surge from Lynnwood for the league win.
Thayer scored 15 points in the first half, all on 3-pointers, and Floyd added 11 as the Spartans built a 42-28 lead and held on late for a six-point win. Max Mayo added 11 points for Stanwood (8-1, 4-1 Wesco 3A/2A).
Keegan Williams scored a team-high 17 points, Noor Ahmadzai added 13 and Cimaryus Sterling chipped in 12 on four 3-pointers for Lynnwood (2-7, 0-5).
